Ghana forward, Jordan Ayew, scored a scorcher to open the scoring at Goodison Park as Crystal Palace began the post-Roy Hodgson era with a draw against Everton.
Hours before the game, the Eagles announced that Hodgson had left his role as manager of the club after falling ill during the week.

The goal was Ayew's third of the campaign in 23 appearances for the South London club. He has also delivered five assists in the ongoing season, per Transfermarkt.
Meanwhile, Palace will be hoping to return to winning ways when they host Burnley on Saturday.
