According to former footballer, Eden Hazard, there’s quite a big difference between the two teams.
The Belgian star, who played for both European giants, detailed how the culture of winning at Madrid was much stronger than at the London-based side.
During a recent interview, Hazard explained that at Madrid, you could see people were not entirely happy if the team lost. He compared it to Chelsea, where he said it was a more relaxed atmosphere after a defeat.

Hazard’s time at Chelsea and Madrid
As noted by Transfermarkt, Hazard made 352 appearances for the Blues, scoring 110 goals, while he only made 76 appearances for Los Blancos.
His impressive spell at Chelsea was what led Madrid to splash out cash for him. The Spanish giants spent €150 million in 2019 to secure his signature.
