Eden Hazard proved his allegiance to Chelsea with a hilarious dig at Tottenham Hotspur.
Hazard, who surprised the world by announcing his retirement from football in 2023, appeared on his former teammate John Obi Mikel’s Podcast where he made some interesting comments about the 2023/24 Premier League title race.

Hazard’s take on Tottenham
Despite the gulf in fortunes between Tottenham and Chelsea this season, Hazard, who won two Premier League titles with the Blues, simply refuses to give credit to his fclub'sclub’s city rivals.
"The Premier League is so hard and you see now Man City they are better than Chelsea, you see Liverpool they are better than Chelsea," Hazard spoke on the Obi One Podcast.
Mikel then chimed in by suggesting Tottenham to his former teammate, but Hazard was not taking the bait and instead issu'd ' ‘no’ along with laughter.

FootballDespite Mikel's attempts to give Spurs credit for what they have done this season, Hazard remained firm with his stance and admitted that 'a Chelsea legend cannot give praise to opposition'.
“They play good football but you know as a Chelsea legend you also can't say that man. That's for sure [they won't win the league],” Hazard added.

Tottenham’s decent performances, coupled with Chelsea's frailties this season, have seen a 12-point gap between the two teams.
