"I know many will disagree with me, but this is my opinion, and I stand by it. Onyeka, to me, was their key player leading up to the final. He dominates the midfield, driving the team forward and breaking up play. He is their best player and vital to their two-midfielder system that worked so well in the tournament."

Hunt's choice may come as a surprise, given the widespread acclaim for Troost-Ekong's performances as the standout player of the tournament.
