Kylian Mbappe will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season when his contract expires, and has put top European clubs on red alert with the news.
After seven years in blue and red, Mbappe will exit the Parc des Princes, ending an almost two-year transfer saga involving him and the French capital city club.
Real Madrid have been attempting to poach him since 2022 but each time they appear close, the French national team captain extended his stay in his home country.
Per Foot Mercato, an agreement was in place between the two parties since January despite mind games and denials by the Spanish club and the attacker.

Klopp speaks on Mbappe's saga
During his press conference yesterday, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was quizzed on the hottest news in Europe as one of the clubs who have been linked with the player.
The German manager will not be a part of whatever Liverpool decides to do from next season as he is set to vacate his role in June after nine years in charge, but he offered an insight into why the deal will be complicated for most clubs.
“Obviously, I’m not involved in that, but I can tell you I’d be surprised if all the top clubs were. The top clubs I know, for most of them, it will be tricky - wages, signing-on fee,” he said via Daily Star.
He could still be involved in the saga after reports in the Spanish media linked him with Barcelona job, with Xavi Hernandez set to leave his post at the end of the season. The Blaugrana have registered interest in Mbappe.
