Sadio Mane walked down the aisle with his lover Aisha Tamba in an Islamic marriage ceremony in Dakar, Senegal, on January 7, shortly before he departed for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Aisha's father, Amadou Tamba, once disclosed how his pretty 18-year-old daughter found love with the footballer before they decided to make their relationship official.
He explained that the couple did not spend long courting before they decided to exchange vows.
The proud father narrated how his daughter and Mane met as the former Liverpool star once disclosed that his wife would not be on social media and must respect God.

Mane himself has a very low social media presence as he does not have an official handle on X. He is a devout Muslim who does not drink alcohol and rarely attends any parties.
Amadou Tamba explains how the lovers met for the first time, as per Express:
"My wife and Aisha visited their (Mane's) family one day, and this is where he met her for the first time. He probably saw something special in her, and his parents appreciated her as well.
"They came to see me. We discussed as per the tradition, agreed on everything and waited for this day to happen. They were not dating because Aisha was still young."
