The former German international is still training hard and has impressed fans with his recent body transformation. While Ozil was always in good shape during his playing career, he has really bulked up since leaving the game.

The former Arsenal man took to social media to share a video of him working out, and fans could not help but be impressed by his work ethic.

@dailydoseofftbl commented:

“The world ain't ready for ripped Ozil😳.”

While @rioferdy5 said:

“Looking strong bro.”

@nb10_football_ commented:

“Bro became so buffed I barely recognized him.”

Even Real Madrid star Antonio Rudiger chipped in when he commented ‘Beast.’

Ozil works out with a personal trainer

This is not the first time the former Real Madrid man has impressed fans with his physique.

In December 2023, talkSPORT reported how he was working with a personal trainer. The player took to social media to show off that he was working out with his personal trainer, Alper Aksac.

Ozil was seen doing a mixture of exercises designed to build muscle.

Ozil's impressive footballing career

Having come through the youth ranks at Schalke, Ozil made a name for himself when he moved to Madrid in 2010. Three years later, he moved to Arsenal, where he became a fan favourite.

The attacking midfielder played 254 games for the Gunners, scored 44 goals and notched up 79 assists, Transfermarkt reported.

Ozil provides an answer to GOAT debate

Sports Brief previously reported how Germany's Mesut Ozil once gave an interesting answer when drawn into the GOAT debate.

The debate over who is greater between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi continues to divide people around the world.

The former Arsenal attacking midfielder played alongside Ronaldo for three seasons at Real Madrid and had high praise for CR7.
