Paris Saint-Germain is set to kick off its tour of Doha to celebrate the club’s history and has extended an invite to former Super Eagles captain, Augustine Jay-Jay Okocha.
Okocha, who is regarded as one of the club’s legends, spent four seasons with the reigning Ligue 1 champions between 1998 and 2002 before moving to England to join Bolton Wanderers.
According to Soccernet, the Super Eagles icon will link up with other PSG greats, including Ronaldinho, Pedro Miguel Pauleta, Claude Makelele, Javier Pastore, Didier Domi, and Nene.
PSG’s ex-players have a range of activities lined for, including a friendly game, watching the Doha Tennis Tournament, and then attending the Qatar International Food Festival for a special live cookery show.

The three-day event kicked off on Tuesday, February 13, and will run until February 15, with Okocha set to join the rest of the team in Qatar following the conclusion of the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
