Former Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez’s wife Taylor Ward is set to share intricate details about the couple’s love life in a new reality TV show.
A trailer of the show that is doing rounds on social media shows Ward and Mahrez talking about his switch from Manchester City to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.
The Algeria winger joined Al-Hilal last summer, linking up with former Premier League stars like Roberto Firmino, Allan Saint-Maximin and Edouard Mendy.
Moving from Europe to the Middle East was never going to be easy, and this was evident in Mahrez’s exchange with his wife as seen in a short clip of the upcoming reality TV show , Married to The Game.

In the docuseries, Ward breaks down how distraught she was because of how her husband responded to her concerns about moving to Saudi Arabia.
"Riyad rung me and basically told me that 'we're moving to Saudi,” she can be heard saying in the docuseries’ trailer.
The video then cuts to a scene where Ward expresses her concerns about being alone in a foreign country, to which Mahrez replies, “It’s part of the game, innit?”
Ward, the daughter of Ashley Ward, a former Premier League player, admits the line ‘still haunts me to this day’.
Speaking on how she learnt of her husband’s impending transfer from Manchester City, Ward said, per The Mirror:
"It was a huge shock and I had absolutely no idea. One day we were planning for Riyad to go back to pre-season with City and then overnight we were moving to Saudi and I was planning this whole move.

After winning a third straight league title with Manchester City, Mahrez, a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations winner, secured a £30million move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.
According to 90Min, his salary is in the region of £45m per year., or £750,000-a-week. The contract runs for three years.
