Teko Modise has made headlines this week for all the wrong reasons. The retired midfielder is reportedly neglecting his role as a father.
According to reports, Modise's daughter got kicked out of a private school because the former Bafana Bafana player failed to pay fees.
The 37-year-old allegedly owes the school a whopping R31 000, which has not been settled in seven months.
The claims were made in a report by Sunday World this week. According to the publication, Modise's baby mama is now giving him trouble over 'neglecting' his fatherly duties.
ZAlebs reported the former Mamelodi Sundowns player was already made aware of the arrears in May but he failed to take action and settle the bill.
He reportedly made arrangements to pay the money but never followed through on his promise. The failure to pay led to the school informing the retired soccer star that his daughter would be sent home.
The baby mama is allegedly livid over Modise not paying attention to their daughter while living his best life with his new partner, Lerato Kgamanyane.
She reportedly confirmed the reports to Sunday World and said:
"I don’t have time for gossip, my daughter has been kicked out of school. Why don’t you call her famous dad instead of wasting my time, he is the star not us.”
A family relative revealed it is not the first time Modise's negligence led to his daughter being kicked out of school.

In other news, Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Beyoncé recently trended on social media after her pics holding a white chicken resurfaced online. Most Mzansi tweeps assumed that the US superstar was going to "slaughter" the chicken.
Many people in Mzansi usually slaughter white chickens when performing rituals or when they have traditional ceremonies at their homes. In some Mzansi cultures, the white chicken is slaughtered when one thanks their ancestors for a new job or when they ask for blessings.
The pics of B holding the chicken were recently posted by a Twitter account - @VISUALYONCE. In one of the pics, the singer is holding the chicken close to her face and in the other snap she holds it close to her chest.
