Earlier, the retired striker, who scored 126 goals in 366 games for United, expressed his delight in touring India.
"This tour organised by Tilak is not only a memorable moment for fans but also for me as I have been eager to visit the country and experience its footballing culture,” he said, as quoted on SportBible.
Solskjaer added, "I am deeply grateful for the warm welcome I have received in Bengaluru, and eagerly anticipate meeting fans in Delhi and Mumbai.”
As part of his tour, Solskjaer will also visit Delhi on Sunday, February 11, and engage in meet-and-greets with the fans, as well as talk about his favourite tales during his 10-year stint as a Manchester United player.
Solskjaer’s time at Man United
The Norwegian returned to Manchester United in 2018 as a manager to take over from Jose Mourinho in what was an emotional reunion between club and club legend.
However, during his three-year stint with the club, Solskjaer did not win any silverware, although famously guided United to a second-place finish in the 2020/21 campaign.
