Former West Ham United defender Arthur Masuaku netted a brilliant freekick as DR Congo secured their first win at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and progressed to the semi-final.
The two-time champions defeated Guinea 3-1 in the second quarter-final at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium to book their place in the last four.
Guinea got off to a great start after Le Havre forward Mohamed Bayo converted from the spot on 20 minutes.
The Congolese responded before half-time through captain Chancel Mbemba, who fired home from a corner kick.

Brentford star Yoanne Wissa gave DR Congo the lead from the spot before Masuaku scored arguably the best goal of the tournament to seal victory.
In a video shared on social media, the Besiktas left-back teased the Guinean goalkeeper, who was expecting a cross by directing his freekick into the post.
DR Congo joined the Super Eagles of Nigeria as the two countries to reach the semi-finals of AFCON 2023.
They will now face the winner of the match between Maki and Ivory Coast in the semi-final.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Arthur Masuaku scored a vital goal as the Democratic Republic of Congo defeated Guinea 3-1 on Friday to reach the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals.
Masuaku netted direct from a free-kick on 82 minutes to give his country a two-goal advantage in the quarter-final and they will face hosts Ivory Coast or Mali for a place in the title decider.
