Stanley Nwabali shook off an injury scare to inspire Nigeria into the semi-final of the Africa Cup of Nations with another stellar performance for the Super Eagles.
Nwabali kept another clean sheet as the three-time champions defeated Angola to reach the last four of the tournament in Cote d'Ivoire.
Atalanta star Ademola Lookman netted the winner in the first half after connecting to a cross from Moses Simon in the 41st minute.
However, things would have been different had it not been for a crucial save from Chippa United goalkeeper Nwabali in the fourth minute.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that The Super Eagles of Nigeria continued their good run at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations as they defeated Angola in the quarter-final to book a place in the last four.
Ademola Lookman's first-half goal sealed a deserved victory for the Super Eagles against the Palancas Negras at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny.
Both started the game brightly, but the Black Antelopes got the first shot on target in the fourth minute with Mabululu's effort saved by Stanley Nwabili.
