  • The Brazilian scored a hattrick against Inter Miami
  • His goals helped Al-Nassr thrash the MLS side 6-0

Anderson Talisca dedicated his hattrick against Inter Miami to Cristiano Ronaldo, the arch-rival of Lionel Messi, as Al-Nassr thoroughly dominated the MLS side in a friendly encounter held on Thursday, February 1.

In a highly anticipated matchup between Ronaldo and Messi, termed the 'Last Dance,' Talisca emerged as the standout performer in the absence of the GOAT pair.

While the Portuguese phenom missed the friendly due to injury, his longstanding rival made a late cameo appearance as the Knights of Najd secured an emphatic 6-0 victory, Sportstar reports.

Talisca ensured Ronaldo's absence was inconspicuous in Al-Nassr's first game of 2024, playing a pivotal role in their commanding performance.

The Brazilian doubled Al-Nassr's lead with a brilliant finish, following Otavio's opening goal just three minutes into the game.

His second goal came from the penalty spot after Heron's goalkeeper Drake Callender fouled striker Mohammed Maran in the box.

Completing his hattrick, which sealed the game's sixth and final goal, Talisca paid tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo with his choice of goal celebration.

The former Besiktas star was named the man of the match for his outstanding contribution, dedicating his three-goal heroics to his 'partner in crime.'

"We hoped that Cristiano would participate with us in this match. This win is for him," the 30-year-old said as quoted by NoodleHairCR7 on X (formerly Twitter).

Coincidentally, the former Besiktas attacker notched the hattrick on the occasion of his 30th birthday.

Talisca mimicks Ronaldo's 'Siuuu'

In the same game, Anderson Talisca compounded Lionel Messi's challenges by performing Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic Siuui celebration after scoring a hat-trick against Inter Miami, Sports Brief reported.

In the midst of jubilant celebrations with his teammates, Talisca separated from the group, lifted his hand in the air, and signalled to the enthusiastic crowd that he was about to execute the 'Siuuu' celebration.

With a soaring jump, he descended amid the echoes of the Siuu chant, crafting a memorable and vibrant celebration.
