"Our teams' participation in such competitions is proving beneficial in AFCON. The presence of Sundowns players provides us a competitive advantage, helping manage emotions and control the game's pace,” Letsholonyane told Radio2000’s Game On, as quoted on iDiski Times.

Currently pursuing his coaching badges, the Sundowns legend elaborated on the valuable experiences brought to the team, citing examples like Teboho Mokoena's ability to slow down the game when necessary.

Bafana Bafana will resume their campaign on Saturday, February 3, when they face Cape Verde in the quarter-final at the Stade Charles Konan Banny de Yamoussoukro.

Letsholonyane's involvement with AmaZulu commenced last season, contributing to the Vision 2032 initiative by mentoring the under-17 side.

Progressing through various coaching roles, his journey recently concluded as the DDC side faced challenges under his leadership, resulting in his departure.

Expressing gratitude in his farewell message, Letsholonyane thanked AmaZulu FC President, Mr. Sandile Zungu, Mfundo Zungu, Celo Mbanjwa, and the entire club for his trust.

"CHAPTER 16/17 of my Book/Movie. A year of experience gained, a lot of lessons were learned, new skills were acquired, and insights on what to do and not to do were part of the journey. Coaches/Colleagues, thank you, and till the day we meet again," as quoted on Far Post.
