According to The Analyst, the Super Eagles have been labelled the new favourite to win the 34th edition of the showpiece, with Opta AI assigning them a 55.5% chance of winning.

Nigeria is ranked as the top FIFA nation among the remaining eight, while Angola holds the lowest rank (117th) among the teams left in the 2023 edition of the AFCON.
