Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly not backing out on the possibility of appointing Pitso Mosimane as their permanent manager despite taking up a new job in the Saudi Pro League.
The South African tactician, who recently signed a four-month deal with Abha Club, could be making a return to the Premier Soccer League soon.
Mosimane's former assistant, Cavin Johnson, is currently managing AmaKhosi on an interim basis and has yet to decide on his future with the club.
According to a report by Soccer Laduma, Kaizer Chiefs are still pushing for the possibility of getting Mosimane at the end of his contract with the Saudi Pro League side.

The South African media outlet quoted their source confirming that the former Mamelodi Sundowns manager is still a top target for the Glamour Boys.
"It is true Kaizer Chief are not giving up on Pitso Mosimane," Soccer Laduma source said.
"You know they have spoken about it before, and that could be because he has signed a short-term contract in Saudi Arabia.
"You know it is until the end of the season, and that's when he could join Kaizer Chiefs."
A member of AmaKhosi's board has confirmed that Johnson could be the club's manager until the end of the season before they name a permanent replacement for Molefi Ntseki.
