This will be the fourth time the Super Eagles and the Albiceleste will meet in a friendly game and their tenth overall meeting in all competitions, including the FIFA World Cup.
According to the Daily Post, the Argentina Football Association confirmed that the world champions will tackle Nigeria and Ivory Coast in two international friendlies after reaching an agreement with a Chinese corporation.
Both friendly games will be played at the Olympics Sports Centre Stadium in Hangzhou, China, and will be Nigeria’s first friendly game after the Africa Cup of Nations, which is scheduled to end on February 11.

FootballThe Nigerian Football Federation has, however, yet to confirm the friendly game with Argentina as all focus is currently on the Super Eagles' campaign at the ongoing AFCON in the Ivory Coast.
Meanwhile, Argentina has recorded six wins, two defeats and one draw in their nine previous meetings against the Super Eagles as both teams get set for another thrilling encounter, The Guardian reports.
In their last friendly encounter in November 2017 in Krasnodar, Russia, Nigeria came from 2-0 down to beat the South American giants 4-2 before Argentina took revenge at the 2018 World Cup finals.
Needing only a draw to qualify for the round of 16, the Super Eagles conceded a late goal to lose 2-1 to the Argentines and get knocked in the group stage of the 2018 World Cup finals.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported Angola coach Pedro Goncalves believes the Super Eagles are full of quality and talented players who might cause problems for his team in the AFCON Round of 16.
