Super Eagles vice-captain, William Troost-Ekong has emphasised thhe Nigerian team are eager to win their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final clash against Angola.
The three-time AFCON winners sealed a date with the Black Antelopes after cruising past rivals, Cameroon, 2-0 in the Round of 16, with Ademola Lookman netting both goals.
Speaking to Sports Brief, Ekong warned against underrating the Angolan team but gave assurances that Nigeria would be playing to get nothing less than a win.
"Who says they are a smaller team? I think this AFCON has taught everybody that the level is increasing, and there is no such thing as a small team anymore. And yes, we want to win the game."
