The Kaizer Chiefs legend, affectionately known as 'Yeye,' shared his sentiments through a goodbye letter to the club, expressing gratitude for the experience gained during his tenure.
Letsholonyane's journey with AmaZulu began last season when he was appointed to mentor the under-17 side as part of the club's Vision 2032 initiative.
Subsequently, he transitioned to assistant coach for the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) side, working alongside Siyabonga Nomvethe.

Expressing gratitude in his farewell letter, Letsholonyane thanked the President of AmaZulu FC, Mr. Sandile Zungu, Mfundo Zungu, Celo Mbanjwa, and the entire club for the trust placed in him.
“CHAPTER 16/17 of my Book/Movie. A year of experience gained, a lot of lessons were learned, new skills were learned, and things to do and not to do were also part of the lesson. Coaches/Colleagues, thank you ne, till the day we meet again,” he said, as quoted on Far Post.

Letsholonyane finished his course with dedication, obtaining his CAF Licence in South Africa in 2021, pursuing a CAF C Licence in Zambia in 2022, and achieving the CAF A Licence in Botswana last year.
