FootballJurgen Klopp: The Staggering Amount It Would Cost You to Watch German’s Last PL Game Live

- The German has spent more than eight years at Anfield

Tickets for Jurgen Klopp’s last Premier League game as Liverpool manager are going for astronomical prices.
The Reds boss’ final Premier League match promises to be an emotional affair, as it will be at Anfield against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, May 19.
As expected, many Liverpool fans have hopped on the opportunity to see Klopp’s ‘last dance’ at Anfield by getting themselves a ticket for the crunch clash.
It is a game of many what-ifs, as Liverpool have a solid chance of going into the game as Premier League champions.
According to The Mirror, since Klopp announced he would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, ticket prices have soared incredibly.
A black market website is reportedly selling the tickets for a staggering £18,000, and it could go up to £24,480 after a service fee and VAT.
In comparison, this fee is exorbitant compared to the face value £60, which is typically the price of a ticket officially sold by Liverpool.
The seats, whose prices are incredibly high, are located on Block L5 at the front of Anfield’s Main Stand, according to Daily Star. This gives the fans a front-row view of the dugout, where Klopp will likely be standing for most of the game.
Fans can still opt for cheaper resale tickets, but ‘cheaper’ in this case means forking out £2,000 before tax.
Why is Klopp leaving Liverpool?
As far as Klopp’s exit is concerned, the former Borussia Dortmund boss admitted he was ‘running out of energy’, hence his decision.
He took over at Liverpool in 2015 from Brendan Rodgers and at the time, the Reds were a Europe League team at best.

FootballBut after years of investment and instilling his philosophy into the club, Liverpool regained its glory days under Klopp, winning the Champions League and Premier League, with the latter becoming their first in 30 years.
“It is that I am, how can I say it, running out of energy. I have no problem now, obviously, I knew it already for longer that I will have to announce it at one point, but I am absolutely fine now. I know that I cannot do the job again and again and again and again,” Klopp said, as cited on the Liverpool website.
The Wolves game on May 19 may not be Klopp’s last game in charge of Liverpool, however, as the team is still in all four available competitions this term including the Europa League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
Pep Guardiola on Man City future
In other news, Pep Guardiola also spoke on his Manchester City future after Jurgen Klopp’s announcement.
Unlike his counterpart, Guardiola made it clear he was still keen on the Manchester City job, and would be at the dugout for at least one more year.
