The Super Eagles of Nigeria face off against perennial rivals Indomitable Lions of Cameroon. The clash between the West African neighbours is undoubtedly one of the stand-out clashes of the tournament, and little wonder the magnitude of buzz it continues to generate.

The 70-year-old manager, who spoke in an interview with media outlet OwnGoalNigeria, stressed the difficulty of the matches between both teams.
“The game has always been one that will always be top of Africa. So, it is not about tactics all the time. You need players who can stand up to the moment. It is really tense in these games against Cameroon.”
The Franco-German who oversaw Nigeria’s last AFCON victory over the Indomitable Lions further stressed:
“I will go for players with big characters and big personalities in big games. It is why I always have Moses Simon in my team for the game. He is a player for the big occasions because he really works hard for the team. He can be decisive on match day, he concluded.
