- Cavin Johnson has disclosed Kaizer Chiefs' plan for the January transfer window
- The AmaKhosi are yet to sign a player during the winter transfer compared to others
- The Glamour Boys signed nine players during the summer transfer window
Kaizer Chiefs' interim manager Cavin Johnson has given an update on AmaKhosi's plan before the close of the January transfer windows in the South African League.
The Glamour Boys are still silent in the transfer market, while other top clubs in the Premier Soccer League have added new signings to their team.
Cavin Johnson, who has been in charge of the team since the departure of Molefi Ntseki, has done a decent job since being appointed as the club's interim manager.
During an interview with journalists, Johnson disclosed why his team will not be making any additions in the January transfer windows, according to iDiskiTimes.
"At the moment, I don't think we should disrupt the nest, if I may call it the nest. We have a crop of players from last year that's done well, very well," he said.
"And the crop of players, some players haven't started but keep their hands up and look like they're happy to be in the Kaizer Chiefs players' group."
The former Al Ahly assistant manager also claimed that anything can still happen despite the team not having a plan to add another player in the transfer window.
"So yeah, I'm happy. But you never know what happens in football. Something could drop out of the sky, and that's good for Kaizer Chiefs. But in saying that, no, I'm happy with the players we have."
