The news that Jürgen Klopp is stepping down as Liverpool manager at the end of the season has come as a surprise to many.

While Klopp himself remains in good spirits after dropping the bombshell, tributes have poured in for the German manager, including one from the GOAT of basketball, LeBron James.
The LA Lakers star owns a stake in the Merseyside team and is a big supporter of the English Premier League side. He has visited the club's facilities before and remains one of their most visible partners.
Taking to X ( formerly Twitter), King James thanked the Liverpool boss for all he's done for the side over the years, describing him as 'one helluva manager'.

As noted by Sportskeeda, King James owns a 2% ownership stake in the club, which he purchased in 2011 while he was still with the Miami Heat.
He made the investment four years before Klopp arrived at the team, but the German's success with The Reds saw the LA Lakers star make a significant profit on his investment.
King James also launched his own LFC x LeBron clothing line with Nike in early 2023.
