Arsenal enthusiasts in Nairobi, Kenya convened at the Friends Quaker Church on Ngong Road for a special prayer session on Sunday, January 21.
This was an act of gratitude and seeking divine favour for their beloved team following a spectacular 5-0 triumph over Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Clad in their red jerseys, the fans attended a morning service, where they joyously sang praises and extended thanks to their team's impressive performance.
A video of the prayer session, shared by Citizen Digital on X, captured the fervent prayers offered by the fans, hoping for continued success for Arsenal in the ongoing season.
The Gunners' 5-0 victory against Crystal Palace injected new life into their pursuit of the Premier League title.
Centre-back, Gabriel played a pivotal role, scoring the opening goal with a header and contributing to an own goal by Palace goalkeeper, Dean Henderson.
Leandro Trossard added another goal on the hour mark before substitute, Gabriel Martinelli secured two more strikes in stoppage time.
The win propelled Mikel Arteta's squad to the same point total as Manchester City and Aston Villa, trailing leaders Liverpool by just two points.
"We wanted to start the second part of the season with a great performance, with a great result, and build that positivity and momentum again. I think the boys did a good job," Arteta said as quoted by Hindustan Times.
