  • Equatorial Guinea will face Ivory Coast in their final game

Equatorial Guinea has arguably delivered the best goal celebration so far at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d'Ivoire.

The Nzalang Nacional secured their first win of the competition after cruising to a 4-2 victory against Guinea Bissau, with veteran forward Emiliano Nsue netting a hat-trick in the Group A encounter.

After netting the fourth goal of the game, the players produced a well-rehearsed dance celebration.

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, the players led by midfielder Pablo Ganet delivered the choreographed dance.

Meanwhile, in a thrilling encounter at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Equatorial Guinea opened the scoring through Nsue after pouncing on a mistake by the Guinea-Bissau defence.

Just before half-time Guinea Bissau levelled through an own-goal before a VAR decision ruled out an earlier penalty.

Josette Owono gave Equatorial Guinea an early second-half lead before Nsue met a fine cross from Basilo Ndong to extend the advantage.

The former Middlesborough attacker capped his hat-trick with a clever finish on the hour mark, as reported by BBC.

Late in the game, Ze Turbo reduced the deficit for Guinea Bissau.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Spain-born Equatorial Guinea star, Emiliano Nsue has become the first player to score a hat-trick at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The 34-year-old led the Nzalang Nacional to an emphatic win in the first game of the second round of matches as Equatorial Guinea defeated Guinea-Bissau to go top of Group A.

Nsue opened the scoring after a mistake from the Guinea-Bissau defenders in the 21st minute.

Sports Brief also reported that Nsue scored the first Africa Cup of Nations hat-trick since 2008 as Equatorial Guinea beat Guinea-Bissau 4-2 on Thursday to close in on a place in the last 16.

Nsue opened the scoring midway through the first half before a sparse crowd at the Ebimpe Olympic Stadium and added two more goals in the second half in a remarkable performance.

The result leaves Equatorial Guinea, who held Nigeria 1-1 in their opening game, with four points in Group A, which also contains hosts Ivory Coast.
