Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has opened up about his relationship with Liverpool co-owner, LeBron James.
Mbappe and James are understood to have grown close since 2018 when the pair met for the first time during a Nike event in New York.
According to The Mirror, the duo's meeting came at a when monumental changes were happening in their careers, with Mbappe joining PSG permanently from Monaco as James signed for LA Lakers.
Incredibly, while James has largely made a name for himself in the NBA, he also has a keen interest in football.
The American superstar is an investor in Fenway Sports Group, the company that owns Premier League side, Liverpool.
Mbappe speaks on his relationship with James
Mbappe has now disclosed that he enjoys a close relationship with James, and he regularly seeks career advice from the NBA legend.
"He has a much more advanced career than I do, and projects outside sport that have cemented his place as a legend," Mbappe told GQ Magazine.
"Being able to ask such inspiring personalities for advice is a chance to adjust my projects and create my own thing," he continued.
Mbappe's revelation comes at a time when he is expected to make a major decision on his future with PSG.
The Frenchman's deal with the Ligue 1 club is set to expire at the end of the ongoing season.
Real Madrid are understood to be the firm favourites to secure his services, while Liverpool have also been linked with a possible move.
