According to Sky Sports, Bayern forked out an eyewatering £100m to land the services of the England captain.

Kane, who scored 280 goals at Tottenham Hotspur, penned a four-year deal at Allianz Arena.

The forward has gone on to be a revelation at the German club, scoring an impressive 26 goals in just 24 games.

Could Kane return to the EPL?

However, the England international could reportedly make a return to the Premier League at the end of this season.

This is according to BBC journalist Luke Edwards, who has claimed Old Trafford could be Kane's next destination.

It is believed that Manchester United are looking to make one or two big transfers next summer, with the ex-Spurs talisman on the wishlist.

“There’s [Victor] Osimhen at Napoli and there’s Harry Kane at Bayern Munich who I think Manchester United will be in for in the summer," Edward told BBC’s Transfer Gossip Daily.
“I think it’s probably easier for Manchester United to sign him from Bayern Munich than it ever was going to be from Tottenham Hotspur," he continued.

United are expected to bolster their squad in the summer owing to their ongoing struggles this season under Erik ten Hag.
