Sports Brief looks at how much each of his sacking's cost, as first analysed by Planet Football.
Mourinho's earning per sack
1. Chelsea, 2007
Mourinho was brought to England by Roman Abramovich after attaining success at Porto. He won two league titles but was sacked midway through the third season. He reportedly earned a compensation of around £18 million.

He returned to his beloved Chelsea in 2013 and won his third Premier League title in the 2014/15 season, having spent all 38 weeks at the top of the table. Yet again, he was let go in the third season and earned a severance package of £12.5mil.
4. Manchester United, 2019
Mourinho broke the hearts of many Blues fans when he signed for Manchester United. His third-season plague kicked, and he was sacked in December 2019 after leading the club to three trophies, including the Europa League. He earned about £15mil. United went on a six-year trophy drought after him.
