Arsenal spectacularly bounced back to winning ways following their famous 3-1 win over Chelsea at the Emirates.
The Gunners who have failed to record a win in their last ten matches stunned Frank Lampard's men at their home turf.
Alexander Lacazette, Granit Xhaka and Bukayo Saka scored for Arsenal while a consolation from Tammy Abraham was not enough to bring the Blues back into the game.
The Gunners dominated the early exchanges and seemed the likelier side to find the back of the net.
However, Chelsea's best chance of the half fell to Mason Mount as his free-kick from 20-yards scratched the Bernd Leno's left-hand post.
Arenal were given the opportunity to score when Reece James brought down Kieran Tierney in the box for a penalty. Lacazette converted the resulting spot-kick to make it 1-0 in the 34th minute.
Xhaka scored an exquisite free-kick ten minutes later to make the score 2-0 before half-time.
It was 3-0 in the 56th minute when Saka produced a moment of brilliance after spotting Edouard Mendy off his line and chipped the ball beyond the Senegalese goalie.
Mendy made a couple of saves in the game including a stop from Edie Nketiah and another brilliant parry from Lacazette's shot.
Abraham pulled one back in the 85th minute as he chested in a cross from Callum Hudson-Ndoi into the net to give Chelsea a glimmer of hope.
Jorginho missed a golden opportunity to make it 3-2 in the 89th minute but his penalty was saved by Leno.
And Arteta's side held on to record an emphatic victory over their London neighbors with a 3-1 scoreline.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has stated that Mikel Arteta should be given more time to help Arenal become a formidable team.
The Blues will be traveling to the Emirates ahead to take on 15th placed Arsenal on a Boxing Day fixture and Lampard's men do not have the luxury to drop points at north London.
However, the English boss believes Arteta can still bring the Gunners back to their very best if allowed to do so.
