The British billionaire went on to list Giggs, Scholes and Cantona in his picks.
However, he singled out Cantona as the best ever among the trio.
"Eric [Cantona], probably," Ratcliffe said via Manchester Evening News when pressed on his favourite Man United player.
Cantona, who joined United from Leeds in 1992, enjoyed an incredible career at the Manchester club under Sir Alex Ferguson.
The former midfielder scored an impressive 82 goals in 185 appearances for the side, winning multiple trophies in the process, including four Premier League crowns and two FA Cups.
Meanwhile, Ratcliffe was in attendance at Old Trafford on Sunday as Erik ten Hag's men battled Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
The mouthwatering clash ended in a 2-2 draw, with the hosts surrendering the lead twice to settle for a point against the north Londoners.

At the top of the list was Man City ace Erling Haaland, with whom Solskjaer was familiar from Norway.
Jude Bellingham, who is lighting it up at Real Madrid, is the other player who was on Ole's wishlist.
