That was the case at the Supercopa de Espana final when Ronaldo was the main attraction ahead of the final between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
News broke that the Al-Nassr captain would be attending the game to watch his former side, and fans couldn’t contain their excitement.
Supporters were seen chanting his name outside the Al-Awwal Park, where Al-Nassr play their home games, and screaming Siuuu.
Ronaldo’s name rings out during El Clasico
That wasn’t the only time that the former Manchester United star’s name was chanted either.
In the seventh minute of the game, the Al-Nassr forward’s name rang out around the stadium as fans paid tribute to CR7.
Seven is a number synonymous with the former Juventus man, as he has built a brand around it.
Fans were then given more reason to celebrate the legend that is Ronaldo when Madrid's Vinicius Junior hit the Siuuu celebration after scoring. The Brazilian forward performed the celebration once more when he scored his second goal of the game as well.
Madrid went on to win the game 4-1, with Vini Jr getting a hat-trick and Rodrygo Goes scoring the fourth. Both players are fans of CR7.
