The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations preparations have hit fever-pitch, with all 24 teams arriving in Ivory Coast ahead of kickoff on January 13.

The month-long competition is set to showcase the best of African football. Defending champions Senegal will receive stiff competition from World Cup semi-finalists, Morocco, Egypt and hosts Ivory Coast in their pursuit of retaining their title.

But before the footballing action kicks off, many teams proudly showcased their keen fashion sense upon their arrival in the Ivory Coast. A couple of teams outdid themselves with sophisticated and classy wear as they made their way from their planes to training camps.

Most stylist teams at AFCON 2023

Sports Brief has compiled a list of the best-dressed teams at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

7. Gambia

The Scorpions suffered a bit of a mishap after their flight to Ivory Coast was forced to an emergency landing due to lack of oxygen.

The issue was, however, resolved with Tom Saintfiet's side donning a simple Kaftan with prints of their country flag in the middle.

6. Namibia

The Southern African side wore a shirt dress of colours from their national flag with black trousers to match.

5. Cameroon

Apart from Egypt, no side has won more AFCON titles than the Indomitable Lions. Rigobert Song might still be unsure of how to handle the Andre Onana situation, but their black shirt dress exhibited confidence.

The attire had the colours of their flag in the neck area and front.

4. Senegal

The champions went with an all-white attire, which had shades of the country's national colours.

3. Guinea

Fresh from handing Nigeria another reality check, the Syli national side went entirely African when they pulled up in Ivory Coast. They donned a traditional West African outfit, and despite not having national colours, the boys looked dapper.

2. Nigeria

Well, the Super Eagles momentarily put their pre-tournament problems behind them to rock a white and slightly green kaftan outfit.

The attire was complete with capes of similar colours.

1. Ghana

If this was a competition, the Black Stars won this, hands down. The four-time champions wore the traditional Kente outfit over white shorts and shirts. Manager Chris Houghton joined in, with every player also wearing a watch.

The fashion show is over. Can Ghana break their trophy drought? Can Senegal make it two in a row, or will Nigeria defy the odds and run away with it?

Which team will qualify for AFCON 2023 final

Sports Brief had earlier reported on Opta's AI calculations of which team had a better chance of reaching the AFCON 2023 final.

The algorithm, which considered several factors, gave Senegal a 21.7% chance of retaining their title in the final on February 11.
