FootballErling Haaland Throws Shade at Manchester United With Latest Jadon Sancho Social Media Post
- Erling Haaland has commented on Jadon Sancho's move to Dortmund
- Haaland and Sancho were teammates at Signal Iduna Park
- The pair were key as they won the DFB-Pokal in 2021 with Dortmund
Manchester City forward Erling Haaland has shared his thoughts on Jadon Sancho's loan return to Borussia Dortmund, taking a subtle jab at his parent club, Manchester United.
Sancho completed his move back to the Bundesliga giants, whom he left for United in a £72 million deal in 2021, following a public fallout with Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag.
The disagreement stemmed from Ten Hag's decision to omit Sancho from the squad for a 3-1 defeat against Arsenal in September, citing concerns about the player's commitment to training.
In response, the 23-year-old took to X, formerly known as Twitter, asserting that he had been unfairly made a 'scapegoat' by his manager, via Sportbible.
Despite deleting the post, Sancho refrained from offering an apology to ten Hag, either privately or publicly.
Since his appearance off the bench in the 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest in August, he has been absent from the squad. Consequently, Manchester United decided it was in his best interest to complete the season away from Old Trafford.
Haaland, the Manchester City striker, was part of the team that clinched the DFB-Pokal and shared a strong bond with Sancho both on and off the pitch.
Last week, the Norwegian appeared to aim a subtle dig at United's treatment of Sancho by sharing a picture of the pair captioned: "Some baller that."
He was at it again after seeing Dortmund's post showing Sancho wearing his new shirt. Haaland captioned the photo 'Beautiful' with a heart-eyes emoji on his Instagram story via EuroFoot.
When will Sancho play for Dortmund?

Sancho breaks social media silence
Sports Brief also reported that Jadon Sancho has broken his silence on X, previously known as Twitter, marking his first post since publicly criticising Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
Following a well-publicised falling out with Ten Hag, Sancho has secured a loan return to Borussia Dortmund for the remainder of the season.
