- Dortmund took to social media to mock United over Sancho's signing
Borussia Dortmund have ridiculed Manchester United upon finalising the transfer of Jadon Sancho.
The German club has brought the 23-year-old back into its ranks from the Red Devils, following his exclusion from the first-team due to a public disagreement with coach, Erik ten Hag.
The Englishman has now joined the Bundesliga side on a loan deal until the conclusion of the season, without an option for a permanent transfer.
The Red Devils suffered another blow on social media, with Dortmund delivering a scathing remark directed at the Premier League side.
The Bundesliga side shared an image of Sancho donning their current season's kit, coupled with the caption, 'You love to see it'.
Manchester United used the identical caption when they officially announced the acquisition of Sancho from Dortmund in the summer of 2021.
The German top flight side initially used the same phrase in apparent response to the rejection of the Old Trafford outfit's bid in 2020.
Meanwhile, on his return to Dortmund, Sancho said via Sportbible:
"When I walked into the dressing room today, it felt like a homecoming. I know the club inside out. I can't wait to see my teammates again, to get out on the pitch, play with a smile on my face, set up goals, score goals and help BVB qualify for the Champions League."
Due to his absence from play since August, Sancho will not be in match-fit condition for Dortmund's Bundesliga match against Darmstadt on Saturday.

Sports Brief also previously reported that Jadon Sancho broke his silence on X, marking his first post since the contentious criticism of his coach, Erik ten Hag.
