Among the many teams carrying the label of favourites, the Super Eagles stand out. The three-time Cup of Nations champions, led by coach Jose Peseiro, are widely regarded as contenders to clinch the tournament title thanks to their impressive array of attacking talent.
The exceptional skills of players such as Victor Osimhen, Terem Moffi, and Real Sociedad forward Sadiq Umar make the team enviable by many, hence resulting in the added pressure and favourite status they carry.

The 63-year-old former Sporting CP manager, ahead of the opening fixture, showed his dance moves in what was a light moment shared on social media by @SSE_NGA.
Vibing to the ‘Mnike’ jam by South African artist Tumelo Mokoena, popularly known as Tumelo ZA, the gaffer showcased his dazzling dance skills.
Peseiro's dance performance prompted reactions from fans of the Nigeria national team, and many wasted no time in expressing their thoughts.
