Manchester City defender Kyle Walker and his wife, Annie Kilner, have split.
The couple have known each other for years, having met when they were teenagers in their home city of Sheffield.
According to The Mirror, the two lovebirds formalised their relationship in December 2021 when they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony.
However, their relationship has been the subject of rumours and speculation for months after Walker was spotted with another woman.
It is understood that the incident was one among many that the England international has been caught up in.
Despite the cheating scandals that Walker has allegedly been involved in, his wife, Annie, has always stood by him.
Annie announces break up with Walker
However, Annie has seemingly had enough of the footie star, with the mother of three taking to social media to announce her split with Walker.
In a lengthy post shared on her Instagram, Annie said she resolved to make this public to protect her family 'against the intensity of the media spotlight.'
"I am posting this in response to growing recent media enquiries about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family against the intensity of the media spotlight," she posted.
"Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together; I have decided to take some time away from Kyle," she added.
Annie and Walker have three children together.
