The SS Lazio versus AS Roma Coppa Italia clash was marked by chaotic scenes that saw four red cards flashed by the referee.
The two Italian giants faced off on Wednesday night in a thrilling encounter staged at Stadio Olimpico.
According to the BBC, Mattia Zaccagni netted the only goal of the match in the 51st minute to send Lazio to the semi-final of the tournament.
Zaccagni's winner was through a penalty awarded by the video assistant referee for a foul on Valentin Castellanos by Roma's Dean Huijsen.
However, as predicted, the match was not short of drama, with Roma ace, Edoardo Bove struck by a bottle of beer thrown from the stands.
