FootballLiverpool Given Hope in Pursuit of Kylian Mbappe As PSG Star Is Reportedly Unhappy With Real Madrid
- Kylian Mbappe is yet to decide if he will leave Paris Saint-Germain and where he will go if he does
- Mbappe's camp are said to be upset with some of Real Madrid's actions during their pursuit of him
- Liverpool are yet to make a formal approach but are still in the running to sign the French attacker
Liverpool are still in the running to sign Kylian Mbappe, should he leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.
The French attacker is currently in the last six months of his contract in the capital and is free to engage in talks with any club he chooses.
While Real Madrid are favourites to land his signature, new reports have suggested that it could be The Reds who are in pole position.
As noted by Caught Offside, many of Madrid's stars don't even mention Mbappe, as they don't believe he will sign for the Spanish side.
Mbappe unhappy with Madrid's persistence
With the Los Blancos dressing room less than optimistic about the chances of him signing, the signs could be pointing towards a Premier League move for the French captain.
Mbappe is not only said to be a fan of the Reds but it is believed he has become upset with Real Madrid as well, seemingly due to the pressure they have placed on him.
Mbappe's camp shoots down transfer reports
Mbappe's camp are also upset about recent reports claiming he had already signed for the Spanish giants, amid rumours that he had agreed to move to Real Madrid at the end of the season.
His entourage have since denied these claims, Goal noted:
"There is no agreement around Kylian's future, especially since there are no discussions started about [a transfer to Real Madrid]," the source stated.

Liverpool cautioned against signing Mbappe
Meanwhile, Liverpool legend Dietmar Hamann has urged his former side to tread with caution with regards to the potential signing of Mbappe.
As Sports Brief previously reported, the Reds have been linked with a move for the French captain once his current contract with PSG is finished.
Hamann acknowledged that Mbappe was a world-class player, but believes his salary demands could mess up the club's existing wage structure.
