Mamelodi Sundowns have dominated the list of most valuable players in the Premier Soccer League, according to the latest update from Transfermarkt.

The Brazilians are not just the best teams in the South African league in terms of performance on the pitch but are also showing that off the pitch with the values of their players.

Kaizer Chiefs are also one of the top teams in the DStv Premiership regarding financial stability but their players are not among the top 12 most valuable players in the league.

In a report detailed by iDiskiTimes, Mamelodi Sundowns trio Marcelo Allende, Teboho Mokoena, and Peter Shalulile are the top three on the list, with other players following suit.

Out of the 12 players on the list, Masandawana have eight, while Orlando Pirates have two, with Cape Town City and Stellenbosch FC having one player on that list each.

Mokwena speaks on Mdunyelwa's arrival

Sports Brief earlier reported that Mamelodi Sundowns manager Rhulani Mokwena expressed delight following the signing of Zuko Mdunyelwa from Chippa United FC.

He was unveiled on December 28, ahead of Mamelodi Sundown's second round of the DStv Premiership season, with the right wing-back expected to sign a lengthy deal.
