Real Madrid superstar, Jude Bellingham has been ranked as the most valuable player in the current transfer market.

Bellingham has enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence since he shot to fame after his move to Borussia Dortmund back in 2020.

The midfielder enjoyed a successful stint at Signal Iduna Park before he sealed a sensational summer move to Real Madrid in 2023.

The La Liga giants are understood to have forked out an eyewatering €100 million, with an additional €20mil in add-ons, to land his services.

Bellingham has gone on to hit the ground running at the Santiago Bernabeu, with his contributions putting Real in the driving seat in their La Liga title charge.

To put his performances into perspective, the 20-year-old midfielder has netted 17 strikes in 21 appearances in all competitions since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund.

According to the latest rankings by CIES Football Observatory, the England international is now the most valuable player in the world. The former Dortmund man is believed to be worth a whopping €267.5mil.

Who are the most valuable players?

Per Sportbible, Bellingham's former teammate at Dortmund, Erling Haaland, is placed second on the list of the most valuable players in the world.

Haaland, who joined Manchester City in the summer of 2022, is said to be worth €251.2mil.

The Norwegian has equally been impressive since the transfer, with the towering striker helping City win a historic treble last season.

Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, are placed third and fourth in the listing with a value of €250.3mil and €247.9mil, respectively.

Arsenal youngster, Bukayo Saka completes the top five podium with a value of €223.0mil. He has been one of Arsenal's standouts and most important players in recent years.

The Englishman, who made his first-team debut in 2018, formed a big part of the Gunners' Premier League title charge last season.

Incredibly, no player in the French Ligue 1 and the Italian Serie A made the list, with Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Kylian Mbappe missing out.
