Biography

Mohamed is the eldest child in a family of six. He was born in Al Hoceima, Morocco, before his family migrated to Norway.

Upon arriving in Norway, his father, Abdelbaki Elyounoussi, worked at a pizzeria in Sarpsborg, Park Pizza, a business Mohamed Elyounoussi's parents later owned. Although much is unknown about his childhood, he grew up working with his father at the family business. Speaking to the Guardian, he revealed that he would often surprise fans who would find him serving pizza after a Sarpsborg 08 game.

In the interview, he acknowledged his parents' role in grounding him. He said,

"These are the values my parents gave me. Be humble. Work hard for what you want in life.”
