Manchester City star Erling Haaland has appeared to aim a subtle dig at Manchester United over the treatment of Jadon Sancho.
Sancho has endured a disastrous spell with the Red Devils since he joined them from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021.
The Red Devils are understood to have forked out an eyewatering £73m to land the services of the Englishman from the German club.
However, the winger has since fallen out with United boss Erik ten Hag and is seemingly on his way out of the club this month.
According to Goal, the England international is on the verge of sealing a sensational return to Borussia Dortmund on loan following Ten Hag's imposed exile on him.
It is understood that negotiations between United and the Bundesliga club are in an advanced stage ahead of the proposed transfer.
Haaland aims dig at Man United
Haaland has now appeared to aim a dig at Man United over Sancho's treatment at Old Trafford.
As reported by EuroFoot, the Norwegian took to his Instagram to share a photo of him and Sancho posing with the German Cup during their time together at Dortmund.
"Some baller that," Haaland captioned the photo.
The duo enjoyed a successful stint together at Signal Iduna Park, with Sancho departing a year earlier for the Premier League.
Haaland linked up with him in the English top flight in the summer of 2022, with the towering forward joining rivals City.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Sancho remains banished from Manchester United’s first team, but head coach Erik ten Hag insists the player’s return is entirely in his hands and knows what he must do.
Ahead of United’s home game against Bournemouth, ten Hag was quizzed about the player’s possible return, and he claimed it is up to him.
