Liverpool superstar, Mohamed Salah has been snubbed from the 2023 FIFPro World XI shortlist.

The shortlist features a string of footballers who shone during the year under review.

Who else made the FIFPro XI nomination?

In a list shared by BR Football, a string of Premier League stars made the shortlist, with the likes of Manchester City keeper, Ederson and Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez making the list.

In defence, Ruben Dias, Virgil van Dijk, and Kyle Walker have been nominated alongside Antonio Rudiger and Eder Militao.

In midfield, the Man City trio of Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri, and Bernado Silva will battle Ilkay Gundogan, Jude Bellingham, Luka Modric, and Federico Valverde.

Klopp comments on Salah's absence
