Brazil and AC Milan legend Ricardo Kaka left out Cristiano Ronaldo while picking his main competitor, Lionel Messi, as he built his ideal footballer.

Kaka played alongside Ronaldo during their stint at Real Madrid, but interestingly, he did not deem the iconic Portuguese footballer fit to meet the criteria of his perfect baller.

During a recent interview with GOAL, the 2007 Ballon d'Or winner was given the task of constructing the ideal player by selecting one quality from a player.

While the former Brazil playmaker omitted Ronaldo from his perfect baller list, he previously weighed in on the never-ending Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo debate, Sports Brief reported.

Kaka, who won the 2007 Ballon d'Or prize ahead of the GOAT duo, once described Messi as a genius while commending Ronaldo for his mentality.

When pressed to make a choice between the Portuguese phenomenon and the Argentine maestro, Kaka opted for the Al-Nassr captain.
