Manchester United winger, Alejandro Garnacho, would likely have ruffled a few feathers in Argentina with his latest remark about his role model, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Argentine, who models his game after CR7, has never hidden his admiration for the Portuguese phenom. He underscored his passion to emulate the career of the Al-Nassr captain in his latest interview.

Garnacho had the honour of playing alongside his childhood idol during Ronaldo's second stint with the Red Devils.

However, their time together was shortlived, as the 38-year-old swapped Europe for the Middle East after falling out of favour at Old Trafford.

Nonetheless, Garnacho has done his bit to represent his idol in every sense since the latter's unceremonious exit.

The Spanish-born Argentinian has shown glimpses of Ronaldo's early explosiveness on the flanks and has even developed his goal-scoring abilities, as evidenced in his spectacular overhead kick against Everton, talkSPORT reports.

He even caps off his goals with the iconic 'Siuuu' celebrations and has occasionally taken a leaf from the former Real Madrid and Juventus ace's celebration books, incorporating the 'Calma' and 'I am here' celebrations.

To add to his fanatism, Garnacho even wears the CR7 branded underwear and unashamedly flaunts it for the whole world to see his love for him by occasionally lifting his jersey.

Speaking with MUTV, per CristianoXtra on X (formerly Twitter), the 19-year-old eulogised the five-time Ballon d'Or winner while stating with unmitigated certainty his intentions to be like his idol.
