Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to manage the next month without their talismanic captain.
Spurs, who are currently fifth in the English Premier League table, could be without Son Heung-min for up to a whole month.
The South Korean will head off to Qatar for the AFC Asia Cup and will miss some crucial games for the London-based side.
Son has been crucial for Ange Postecoglou’s side and his absence will be felt at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. He has scored 12 goals in 21 games in all competitions this season, Transfermarkt noted.
With the Asian continental tournament kicking off on January 12, and the final being played on February 10, Sports Brief looks at the games Son could miss.

With the South Korean heading off to Qatar in the midst of an important period, Son urged his ‘family’ to step up and take care of business, The Mirror reported.
He used the example of how he stepped up whenever Harry Kane was unavailable.
