Cristiano Ronaldo is making the most of his time away from the football field.

The Al-Nassr superstar has returned home to Portugal as the Saudi Pro League takes a break until February.

With over a month off from any football action, CR7 is choosing to spend quality time with loved ones back in his hometown of Madeira.

Madeira Island News reported that the Portuguese star’s private jet landed at the Madeira International Airport on December 31, 2023.

While fans gathered at the airport hoping to catch a glimpse of the superstar, Ronaldo and his entourage managed to leave without being detected.

Ronaldo celebrated his mum’s birthday in style and rang in the New Year with family. He is now enjoying quality time with his partner, Georgina Rodriguez.

While fellow Saudi Pro League stars like Fabinho and Roberto Firmino chose to go to England during their break, Ronaldo opted to head back to the island where he was born.

Ronaldo was spotted in a video online visiting different areas of the museum and watching a few moments of his stellar career.
