Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has penned a heartwarming message to his fans as the world welcomes Year 2024.
The Sivasspor of Turkey forward also used the opportunity to thank his supporters, saying they have been his driving force.
Musa will lead the Super Eagles to the forthcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast as Nigeria begin final preparations for the continental showpiece.
The 31-year-old is Nigeria's most-capped player, having made 108 appearances for the national team since 2010.
He is also the country's record scorer at the FIFA World Cup, with four goals, Soccernet reports.
The former Leicester City forward celebrated the Crossover night while witnessing fireworks. He later took to his social media handle to write:

AFCON 2023 kicks off on January 13, and Nigeria are drawn in Group A alongside hosts Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea Bissau.
