The Tottenham Hotspur manager provided a hilarious response when talking about the touchline spat between him and members of Bournemouth’s technical staff.
As noted by talkSPORT, Spurs player Alejo Veliz picked up an injury late in the game, with Big Ange telling the player to go down to receive treatment.
He made the decision in a bid to use up more time.
Touchline spat breaks out during game
Members of Bournemouth’s coaching team didn’t take too kindly to Postecoglou’s tactics and voiced their dissatisfaction.
That sparked a mini spat between members of both sides on the touchline as Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola also got involved.
Iraola was seen pushing Postecoglou away before calmer heads prevailed, and both sides were separated.
Postecoglou’s hilarious remark
Speaking after the game, Big Ange spoke about the touchline incident but joked that everyone just came together to make some resolutions.
Spurs secure big win
The touchline incident was the last of the action as Spurs secured a big win.
Goals from Pape Matar Sarr, Heung-min Son and Richarlison saw the London-based side win 3-1.
The win saw them remain in fifth spot on the table, one behind Arsenal and Manchester City. Spurs will return to action on January 14 when they face Manchester United at Old Trafford.
